My other Grandfather, Walter Sprick (overalls) at his Sinclair Station in Julesburg, CO. During the Depression he would deliver gasoline to farmers around Julesburg and he honored their IOU's. When he died in 1960 my mother found a box of unpaid IOU's from the depression totaling $7000. In this town of 1500 people there was only one farmer who finally paid his long outstanding debt.
