During 2008 the rainfall total for the year was the third highest on record. The photograph provides evidence of the widespread destruction and aftermath. 40 feet was released from Lake Taneycomo at Power Site dam into Lake Bull Shoals.

During 2008 the rainfall total for the year was the third highest on record. The photograph provides evidence of the widespread destruction and aftermath. Water was released from Lake Taneycomo at Power Site dam into Lake Bull Shoals. Bull Shoals lake lake level was forty feet above normal.
